Vendors' thoughts: "Being townies we were at least half in love with the whole idea of "The Cotswolds' as a special thing, and the other ninety percent in need of a much improved lifestyle. So, along with just about everyone else, we researched the hell out of the Internet of Gloucestershire for a year, and, accordingly, we targeted exactly the same, fantastic, gorgeous and downright desirable villages and spots; pub, tick, shop, tick, stupidly cute, tick. Poulton village topped the list, we had happened to pass through it a few times on viewings, and loved it's proximity to Cirencester, the M4 and M40, but really, we'd fallen for its unique, friendly vibe and a gem of a house, and its spectacular garden in particular. Then, on a white December morning, we got the call that 'our' house was actually on the market. Longish story short, bombed-over from the north Cotswolds (while almost offering on another place, phew) car skidding on the virgin snowy drive, hearts melting for the chocolate box vision from outside, we pretty much ran through the house visualising all our treasures (read: stuff) in place already. Made an offer, popped to the local and awaited the call. We got it!"
In a nutshell: Cotswold charm, fantastic space inside and out and stone's throw from a fab pub!
