The Cotswold Platter Co. was born from a concept of grazing tables as a new style of casual, social dining. However lockdown in March is what brought this company to life and their aesthetically pleasing grazing boxes featuring cheese and charcuterie treats proved to be popular among locals!

Perfect if you fancy something a little different for a stay-at-home date night or special treat, all of the grazing boxes are home delivered and can feed up to four people.

Jesse Smith Butchers

Jesse Smith butchers are extremely popular in The Cotswolds for superb meats - restaurants and gastro pubs also use them! We got our organic turkey from them for Christmas last year and it was absolutely delicious. They cannot be faulted on service and if you fancy some quality meats but don’t want to leave the comfort of home, Jesse Smith also have an online shop offering local delivery.

Her indulgent brownie boxes are the ultimate treat for anyone with a sweet tooth and they’re available for local collection in The Cotswolds or nationwide delivery.

Drive-thru options in The Cotwolds

If takeaways aren’t usually your thing, then these drive-thru options which have popped up for lockdown could be just what you need for an evening off.

Polly from Hassle Free Weekends and Amelia have created Winstone drive thru and share their menu on Instagram each week for collection on Saturday night and this week’s menu includes slow cooked lamb tagine with herby couscous and harissa yoghurt. There’s a children’s meal option and the good news is that each main comes with a dessert.

The New Inn in Coln St Alwdwyns has also launched a 'drive thru' option, with their popular burger menu available for pick-up.
