As we all start sinking into hibernation with the clocks going back this week, it’s time to make those cosy corners of your home into the perfect winter sanctuary. We love a roaring fireplace in the colder months, and channeling that excitement for crackling, burning logs, we've pulled together an edit of our favourite pieces of furniture and accessories to bring extra warmth to your fireside this winter.
If you don't have a fireplace in your home, don't worry! Plenty of these pieces can be repurposed for any cosy nook in the home.

The Cotswolds Company have an amazing range of armchairs to customise and choose from, whether you want a love seat for a little extra room to relax or an armchair to sink into on a lazy Sunday. The Mabel is perfect for reading marathons and morning coffees but if you're after something a little different, there are 9 styles of armchair to choose from.
Inspired by a pre-World War II design from Vilhelm Lauritzen, a prominent Danish architect considered a master of the art of uniting materials and light, this floor lamp's retro feel remains faithful to the soft expression of its original design. The careful shaping of the lampshade provides accurate downward light, making it ideal for leisurely reading and creating a soft ambiance to complement the fireside's glow.
The four fold fire screen is an elegant solution for protecting your fireside interiors from rogue sparks and provides a physical barrier to the fire from youngsters and pets. The Fire Basket has a number of designs both traditional and contemporary to match your personal style.
A cosy throw is the perfect way to add a pop of colour and pattern into your home. These Bonds throws are proudly made in Britain and have a clean and classic aesthetic yet are playful in colour. Try picking up a few styles and switching them out every so often on your armchair to freshen up your cosy corners.
Beautiful and practical, this Scots of Stow's fireside companion set sweeps away ash and dust. Made from long-lasting cast iron and steel, the poker, tongs, brush and shovel all loop onto a decorative stand, ready to help you keep your fire ablaze.
An aesthetically pleasing place to store your firewood, this sturdy ratten log basket looks especially handsome next to a crackling fire. During the summer months when a roaring fire isn't needed as much, it also makes a great storage basket for games, toys and throws.
Cotswold Grey has a gorgeous selection of ottomans for you to choose from to put up your feet at the end of a long day. Our favourite is this hand-tanned Italian leather ottoman, the cherry on top to any cosy fireside living space.
