Sharvell Property recently sponsored a wonderful evening celebrating the launch of the new space of Original House at the East Building in Calmsden, in the heart of the Cotswolds. We hosted guests from all over with a keen interest in furniture, art and property.
In a setting to die for, surrounded by lush fields and grazing cows, Archie and Caddy Mackie have created a sensational exhibition of vintage industrial furniture and lighting, antique painted French furniture, as well as some mid-century pieces. Created in 2008, Original House intends to move people away from cheaply made mass consumerism, offering instead properly made pieces with soul that have stood the test of time and will only improve with age.
At Sharvell Property we put a strong emphasis on our marketing. We believe it is key to the successful selling of a home. By bringing out the best features and highlighting a home’s strengths and character, buyers are enthused and drawn in.
Furniture and art can really make the difference and add a wow factor to a room. By blending bespoke pieces, such as a sensational 19th Century French cupboard or a carefully up-cycled army tripod lamp (both by Original House), with a fabulous striking red Aga, an ambience can be created and a room can become the heart and soul of the home.
Whether it be a Manor House or a Cotswold Cottage, every home deserves a statement piece to help fulfil its potential and be original.
