Vendors' thoughts: "We will leave Querns House, with some amazing memories and have been truly blessed to have been the custodians of this amazing home for 7 years. Prior to living here, we lived in a Cotswold town centre for a couple of years and loved being able to walk out our front door to everything. We then lived in large house in a rural setting and loved the space… but needing to drive for everything not so much. Then came Querns House, imagine being able to step out of the front door of your country home and stroll to the shops, restaurants. It’s genuinely been like stepping out of a Narnian portal from our country home and its parkland to convenience of everything being a few minutes’ walk away. The memories we made… starting with us wanting to host a great party at our wedding with 150 friends and family in the garden and looking back at a packed dance floor together… we nailed it! Watching the wildlife from our bedroom, seeing each year’s fox cubs grow. The garden throughout the Seasons, Sunshine, Snow, the copper beech, The Cedar tree. Mastering the Secrets of woodfired Pizza to the kid’s approval, over a beer or a wine “zero flop” on the base. Lockdown cider, made with our own apples, delicious but just the one for me, it was potent stuff! Eating the harvest from the vegetable garden, also a lockdown first. Weekend teas or Sunday Lunch in the Twelve Bells, no discussion about who had the car keys, we’re going to miss Carol and Steve. Tapas, with the compulsory croquetas, at La Bobina. Big family Christmases and dinner not being too late… well done Saz! The pool in heatwaves in last couple of years and teaching the kids, and the grandson to swim. Querns you’ve been Amazing."

In a nutshell: The best of both worlds... A superb country home in the heart of town!
